==========================
Here's the summer menu at the Samson Family Center at COA
(909 E. Garfield)! We invite you and your family to join
us in the following activities!
Special Family Event: What to Do on Your Summer Vacation
Saturday, 19 July 2003; 10:00 AM - Noon
It's getting to be the middle of summer...Looking for some
ideas that are creative and inexpensive for the younger
crew? We have some ideas to share. We'll be trying some
out with the kids, and give you other ideas to take home.
This event is free, but registration is required: 263-8383,
ext. 126.
Weekly Happenings:
Drop-In Family Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30 - 11:30 AM
Enjoy a special time with your child, newborn through age
6. Meet other families, share information. This group
provides opportunities for learning through "hands-on"
experiences in art, science, music, stories. Parents and
children have the opportunity to participate in messy play
that may be difficult to do at home. A snack is provided.
Explore the Computer Learning Lab. Join us!
Lunch Bunch at Gordon Park: Tuesdays, 12:00 - 2:00 PM
Bring your swim suit, sunscreen, towels, and lunch. After
we play in the water, we'll eat lunch and enjoy a fun
activity; then, home for a nap! Be sure to bring your own
lunch, please! In case of rain, we will meet at the Family
Center (909 E. Garfield).
Stories in the Sun: Wednesdays, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM, at the
Lake Park Play Area
Parents, grandparents and other caring adults and children
ages birth-6 are invited to join us for some fun in the
park. We'll explore a theme through storytelling, art,
music, and creative movement. A snack is provided.
While registration is not necessary, your call will enable
us to provide a snack sufficient for all. Feel free to
call for directions.
Questions? Call Sharon Kusmirek, 263-8383, ext. 126.
We'll be looking for you!
