Meeting Minutes

I. June 19, 2003 minutes approved with one correction.

II. Marketing/PR Update:
Template for the new website reviewed. It will be up and
running very soon and will include:

A summary of the minutes after each meeting [RIC News]
clarification of membership for investment of $1000 [Invest
with Us]
link to board members [front page]
clarification that dividends will be paid based on net
proceeds [Invest with Us]
mission statement [front page]
advertise upcoming events
Frequently asked questions.

A motion was approved to establish our own domain.

III. Finance Committee Update:
The Articles of Incorporation were delivered to and
archived by the Secretary.

The finance committee is currently addressing our ability
to finance our first property.

IV. Property Committee:
Contacts have been made with other community groups that
have an interest in owning their own building. RIC will
work in partnership with these groups for mutually
beneficial outcomes.

V. A 1-year At-Large Board Position is vacant.

VI. Fine-tuning of the by-laws will be discussed and
approved at next RIC meeting.

Lecture & Workshop by Catherine Austin-Fitts who will speak
about investing locally in our neighborhoods.

July 30th --6:30pm the doors open. The lecture begins at
7:00 p.m. and runs until 9:30p.m

July 31st  The workshop runs from 6:30 to 9:30pm
This will be held at Turner Hall. Tickets for the lecture
are $10.00. Tickets for the workshop are $20.00. Purchase
of both events is $25.00. Tickets are available for
