Mr. Wasserman, who co-authored the book with his wife M.
Caren Connolly, will identify common bungalow traits,
benefits and limitations, and more importantly creative
methods to renovate and enlarge these 40 to 60 year-old
houses to meet the needs of today's owners.

The humble bungalow style house is making a comeback as the
American homebuyer is discovering the inherent
efficiencies, comfort, and character that make this a well
suited home.

Ms. Connoly and Mr. Wasserman's recently published book is
filled with design ideas and inspiration for renovating,
remodeling, and building this classic American house type,
and includes modest renovations to major overhauls.

The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association is a
community-based organization whose mission is to maintain
and enhance the quality of living in the UW-M area directly
south of UW - Milwaukee. Key issues that MHNA deals with
are finding solutions to neighborhood nuisances of noise
and litter, promotion of community business, finding viable
solutions to limited parking, community advocacy with other
