I Ran With Scissors

It's Children's Day at the East Side Open Market!
Saturday Sept. 6th
10 AM to 2 PM
E. Kenilworth Pl., at Oakland and North

Can you say it? Can you proudly say that you too have "run
with scissors"?

Well, now you can! That's if you sign up of course for the
first annual "I Ran With Scissors" 5K fun run sponsored by
the Midwest Unconventional Sports Association. Registration
is $25 and includes your t-shirt and of course,
kindergarten grade scissors for the run. All proceeds
benefit the Children's Service Society of Wisconsin. The
Run will start at 10 AM at the top of the new bike ramp at
the SE corner of Oakland and North Aves. and the 5 k course
is down on the Oak Leaf Trail. Go to www.musakickball.com
to register or just show up at 9:30 AM at the registration
table.

We are also inviting kids of all ages to come down and
enjoy making children's crafts, a balloon artist, a farm
animal petting zoo, and a drum circle! Story telling and
face-painting by Rainbow Randa the Clown!

AM!
