Center St. Daze is coming up - the last street party of the
season. There are several opportunies to join in on the
Fall Fun, so read on...

1. ART CART RACE, 10:30-12:30:
For the first time, Art Cart Race, sponsored by the
Riverwest Artists Association, will be held in conjunction
with Center St. Daze. In the past, it's been held with
ArtWalk, but most artists were unable to participate
because they had to be in their studios (also see Mark
Lawson's article & John Ruebartsch's photos in the
September RW Currents).

This year it's open to anyone who wants to give it a go.
Several Center St. Businesses have committed to sponsoring
a cart: Uptowner, Onopa, Fuel Cafe, River Horse, Jackpot,
Quarters, UPROC, and Breakaway Bicycle Courier.

HOW TO ENTER:
Cart must have a human rider. Cart should be created, not
pre-made. No entry fee. Call Sparky for info at 264-4797.
10:30 - Registration by Onopa
11:00 - Race Starts
Race Course: Fratney to Bremen St. Run in heats, 2 at a
time. Start/Finish Line: @ Center & Fratney, 1 lap down to
Bremen and back again.

2. BICYCLE SCAVENGER HUNT, 12:30=1:30PM:
Back by popular demand, Wayne Wallner of Breakaway Bicycle
Courier is coordinating the Bicycle Scavenger Hunt.

HOW TO ENTER:
Entry fee $5.00 (includes t-shirt).
NOON - Registration at alley by Fuel Cafe.
12:30-1:30 - Scavenger Hunt (start/finish at Bremen &
Center).

3. OUTDOOR POOL TOURNAMENT/BENEFIT, 1:00-5:00 PM:
Outdoor Pool Tournament in front of the Uptowner to benefit
the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic. Sponsored by Steve Johson
of Uptowner with pool tables provided by Mitchell Novelty.

HOW TO ENTER:
Register at the Uptowner on September 20th.
Time: 1-5PM
Entry Fee $20.00

organization you'd like to promote, email Tess at

the Uptowner on Humboldt & Center.

>From 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, September 20th.
No parking will be allowed on Center St. between Humboldt &
Pierce St. during that time. Thanks for your cooperation.
