Hotcakes Gallery

Why did writer Lawson, in the March issue of Riverwest Currents, fail to address what the price range is at Hotcakes gallery? Since the issue of “affordability” was mentioned, would it not have been helpful to readers to know what “affordable” means as applied to Hotcakes? Many galleries claim affordability (particularly the new Patrick & Catanzaro Gallery on Milwaukee Street which Lawson mistakenly referred to as a gallery titled “Affordable Art”), but isn’t that all relative to who’s doing the shopping?
