The Hot Boards, a nonprofit skateboarding organization, which makes the sport and art of skateboarding accessible to at risk urban youth, is hosting their "First Birthday Party" at Thai Joes in the Prospect Mall, Friday, March 19th beginning at 9pm. The benefit will feature DJ's, local skateboard vendors and a raffle. Prizes include a night at the Hilton, Bucks tickets, gift certificates, skate decks and more! The Hot Boards have been serving Milwaukee's urban youth for one year providing them with mentoring, equipment, transportation and other services required for skateboarding. It's only through donations and fundraising events The Hot Boards are able to reach out to the under privileged youth they serve; so come down to Thai Joes March 19th to celebrate their one- year anniversary and to show your support for the kids!
