WEED-OUT THE WOODS ALONG THE BIKE TRAIL
GORDON PARK, Humboldt & Locust

Meet at Gordon Park and join with other volunteers to
"weed out" the River Revitalization Foundation property
(bike trail area). Vince Bushell, project manager for RRF,
is coordinating these evenings in part to get people out on
the land, and in part to celebrate National Trails Day
month. On June 23rd we'll add a hike to the weeding for
NTD. Please pass the word as a volunteer opportunity. Hope

business owners. LNRC provided a loan to the Riverwest
Co-op for their Cafe expansion project, now under

This course will provide the skills and knowledge necessary
for the safe enjoyment of a recreational canoe outing from home, to the water, and back home again. Emphasis will be upon water safety, the skills needed for paddling on calm water, and the knowledge needed to respond to the hazards associated with canoeing.
