GREEN PARTY CONVENTION (June 24-27)
On Saturday, June 26: Green Party Presidential Nominating Convention with Super Ralley at 7:30PM. There will be several speakers including: Jason West, the young Green Mayor of New Paltz, New York who is facing felony charges for marrying gay couples; Dr. Agha Saeed, the National Chairman of the American Muslim Alliance; and Medea Benjamin from Code Pink and Global Exchange. There will also be great music by Diverse, the hottest hip hop outfit out of Chicago, and Kenneth Burns. All events are open to the public with the exception of the Saturday night rally, for which tickets will be sold for $10.
