Veteran member of Ko-thi Dance Company.

Learn Djembe drumming hands-on techniques. Develop
individualized solo and traditional group drumming rhythms
including the Jun Jun (bass drum). Drum classes start out
as fundamental technique and evolve into high-energy
workouts!

This club is a creative outlet for teens into Hip Hop
Culture. Try your hand at dee- jaying, breakdancing, and
writing lyrics! Roc the Mic w/ Milwaukee's premiere Hip Hop
Artists & Baddest Dee Jays! Explore the misunderstood art
of graffiti! Learn about the industry's career
opportunities and what it takes to make it in the business.
Join us also for Listen 2 the Lyrics as local rap artists
help us breakdown and discuss the messages in the music we
listen to.

Alaiyo's Rhythm Dance Workshop
w/ Charlyn Austin
You can be Poetry In Motion! Discover your own inner rhythm
or just cut loose and learn new dance moves. Participants
have fun exploring space, atmosphere, momentum and creative
individual _expression and will choreograph and present a
performance of African, Modern, and Lyrical dance.
Current May Classes focus on Traditional African Dances &
Culture and includes creating performance costumes & props!
